Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Chris and Ravyn are rivaling Kathy on the "odd finds" category. :p

Nuh uh! That was all Chris! I simply scrolled down and saw that after reading his link! :lau

You don't have a nasal-y voice so no Janice or Roseanne. I'd say Penny (Kaley Cuoco).

@WVduckchick - yer voice is softer than Holly Hunter. I still say Shirley Maclaine.

I think I sound like Courteney Cox (Monica from Friends).

I wish I sounded like Penny! I just don't hear it myself...

Monica works! Except you have a much better laugh than her... :)

:idunno Whoever it is, he has a loudmouth. I think I am whispering and folks still hear me. Has been know to cause problems upon occasion.

High projection voice or baritone projection like Bear on Armageddon?

Hey guys. I'm not up for catching up. Just letting you know I'm ok, very tired. Had to go to ER for a shot early yesterday morning forbhe migraine. It's eased off but I'm wore out and will probably sleep all day again.
I'll talk to y'all later. :hugs

:hugs

Thanks you guys! I'm a couple miles away from one of the red cross shelters. I think that's a good sign because they probably wouldn't set up a shelter in a projected hot spot. :fl All of the stories about strangers helping other strangers & their animals has hit me in my soft spot. :hit

:hugs

I saw that. People are really pissed off about it because (they say) its kit season & she instinctually knows how to stay safe underground with the babies. I dont know, I can see both sides to this argument. They say theres probably 100 horses running loose in north county since last night & are warning drivers to be extra cautious. We get a lot of stray things wandering up my road. I might drop dead if a horse walked up here. I'm sure I could find room on the broom for a couple horses. :wee
I keep a halter in my truck at all times and a rope now.. But i have found two horses over the years wandering the road. Both I found their places... One mare I had seen in a back yard... her water was a kiddy pool... I had nothing to lead her with but she followed me with gentle tugs on her mane... She was ancient and barely fleshed up enough... Sign of old age in horses... No one was at home at the time so I left a note on the door.

The other was a youngish mare wandering down old Highway 80 All I had was a dog leash... I went up to her and said Hi baby... and she shoved her head into my chest. I threw the leash around her neck and followed her foot prints up a dirt road.... about a quarter mile... met up with a man with a halter... HE was baby sitting her... and very grateful... His grandson had left the gate open.

so Now I keep rope at the very least i can make a rope halter.

Not all horses are friendly if they are scared or lost... approach with caution.
