It's been a good day, and I think that I shall be early to bed and hopefully early to rise before the snow starts. And if the snow comes early there is always a tree to trim. Good night, good people of the Pond.
Goodnight papa sour :hugs

Nah. We have plenty of caribou meat.

Absolutely... it's hypocrisy, really...
A long-missing BYC member put it best, I think: all animals must die some day. They can either die in agony from disease, predators, or crippling old age, or they can die a respectful, swift death before they are suffering too much and their bodies be used with thankfulness to sustain us. While being vegetarian sounds nice, there is no life without death, and there is just not enough good land to feed everyone on crops. Cattle and other animals can be run on pastures unsuitable for anything else.

That's my point of view, anyway.
In my opinion In many ways those of us who hunt and fish or raise their own meat care more about the health and welfare of our animals and conservation of wild animals. . we depend on them and have respect for their place in our world. We depend on them to sustain us and in return we place more value on their lives be it short or long.

:lovethose are cute! I used to think they were the ugliest things. . their starting to grow on me
