Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Me, me!! It's our chance to finally be out of the heat for a while! Not sure which is worse, hellish (Monroe said "bullish" hah, capitalist) summers or frozen winters?
I think I'd pick hellish summer...
You should just let Monroe have his say, we'll see if we can break the code... winner winner chicken dinner! :gig

HEY, I SAY HEY ! Time to rise and shine. It's a frigid Sunday morning here on the Pond. Things to do, things to do.

Shhhhh!!! I was trying to sleep in, dangit!

Frigid is the word. Anyone else hate winter?

Hey, stranger! :hugs
How is Itty 2.0 and Bitty???

I have the physical abilities to survive, all that stuff. It's the mental part at night that would terrify me...what was that noise? And the totally alone part. I like being alone at home, etc, but in the wild? not so much. Lol

I have 2 words... tropical diseases...
Nope, ain't going there... you ever see the crap those idiots catch on Naked and Afraid??? :sick

but a portion on PM could be accomplished... once I am satisfied....
Should we keep fire extinguishers handy in case our computers catch fire? ;)

My coop is open all day in temps around zero and my birds are fine....I feel for them but they are okay. I'm sure they can't wait for the temps to go back up. But my point is since not lost one bird yet in 4 years during the winter no matter how cold.
When the temps stay below ZERO I just keep them inside the coop that day. With PLENTY ventilation.
Even my Ayams are fine. But I feel without ventilation her birds will get sick....
They'll get over being sick, they'll get dead!
