oh! I just found online Martin's Pen and Poultry spray... it is .5 permethrin, and says you can spray down the coop AND the chickens!

So.... .5 will not kill chickens, good to know.

When I clean out the coop in a week I guess that means I can spray the coop and the birds with the horse fly spray that I have.

Thanks. I hope it works. Research says there's no"scientific" evidence for it to work, but so many people say it does. I talked to several. So its worth a shot! If not, I got a cute, semi-expensive, earring.
