I think being on this mountain keeps it from getting to me.. I only have one broody at the moment. Thought I had two but she wasnt..

That's the problem, I wasn't joking.
The SS and his GF are coming. But the plan is for the men to put the frame of my coop addition together tomorrow, then I can do the wire and doors, etc. Yeah, the BCMs will have a home. And eventually the CLs.
I'm jealous of the whole post. Nap, anniversary (I'm only on #13) Fair. etc. Enjoy, and yes, we will require pics.

Thanks!!! DH & I have married each other 3x. Once at the JOP, once in my parents backyard, & once by Elvis in the middle of the night in Vegas. I'm hoping we can find a Medieval Friar tomorrow to marry us a 4th time.

And remember the broody bunch piled in one nest box? I finally separated one hen with a few eggs. She hatched 3. Checked the box today and the 3 hens that stayed in the nest box have hatched 2 also!
And my serama pair decided 2 was good for them too. Babies everywhere!!

SOOOO cute!!! Poppy & Baby Iris want out of that brooder. She'll be 2wks on Sunday. I want to let her out, but the kids (& my mother) are freaking out. Broody raised chicks can be let loose, right?

With Lisa's permission (thank you Lisa) I went in for a 25 min nap yesterday & slept half the day. I guess I needed it more than I thought. Got up, finished some more chores & set in trying to get stuff ready for this weekend. Tomorrow is DH & my 23rd anniversary.
Tomorrow is also the Renaissance Fair. After 48yrs & 3 kids I should probably quit trying to squeeze myself into a corset, but I'm not ready to grow up yet. The kids have been making stuff that they might be able to barter there & I'm scrambling to get a million accessories made for their outfits, so no time to lounge on the pond today. I'm trying to make stuff that I have no idea how to make. Wish me good luck & may Gods a mighty bless ye hearth & harvests.

Ren fair is awesome! a sea of breasts on a plate. Just sayin'

oh.... some of the guys wear good outfits too, I think . .... but I will never forget the time I saw a guy wearing not sure what.... that showed off his ENTIRE crack... top to bottom.

oh... Also jousting and fighting galore, and often glass blowing and forging too

oh, and great food.

I did get to go to Midevil Times dinner and show in Orlando once.. it was neatbut not the same I'm sure..
