Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I just got my bandages off at the doctors today.
When I was there they told me they saw no reason for me to do physical therapy.
She paraded me in front of the surgeon.
He said.... Yeah that's the guy who got up right after surgery went to the bathroom and put pants on... And laughed.
Yeah things are good.....I got called into the shop today. Spent 6 hours working on a junk BMW no one else wanted to look at.
What upset me is when it was done they didn't even offer me gas money..... But what ever. Might be a little harder to get me there next time.
I told the wife that's all I really wanted.... Just a few bucks to cover my gas....I mean they charged out $100 an hour..... We have a good relationship but it's still nice to have them offer.....
So glad to hear you are doing so well that there's no need for the PT! :thumbsup

Totally agree You should not even have to mention some compensation for your time and expense is in order.
Next call you might try, "Oh gee, I'm sorry but I've already agreed to go (fill in the blank) They offered to pay me for helping/fixing (fill in the blank).

Yeah... I had no idea he was getting the flu... turns out he picked it up from his boss....

I didn't think to ask the doc if everyone else in the family could also get tamaflu. :idunno

But we have an appointment to take the kid back in tomorrow... to make sure he is improving.

Also got a referral to an allergist. He is allergic to all living things, plus dust.

When he gets the runny nose from the allergies it quickly spirals downhill to him being full on asthmatic with wheezing and changing colors from lack of oxygen .:he

He is BAD. :hit
Back when I was in highschool my best friends brother alwasy carried his nebulizer with him He was a year younger but looked about four years younger than her. ONe summer he went for allergy tests.... They made a grid across his back.... Found all were reactive but there were four that he was particularly allergic to.

They gave him the allergy shots.... By the time he started school again his Asthma was gon pretty much... and he had shot up about a foot. By the end of the year he was over six feet tall.

He was spending all his energy fighting the asthma not growing..... but they had had to wait till he was a certain age... I wanna say sixteen or so....

Two cobroodies and 10 ducklings out of 12 eggs. That’s pretty good I think. Of course if I’d realized it was two hens setting instead of one I’d have given them like 24 eggs. :gig
