So you guys all remember my cousin's awful boyfriend? The one who stole chicks from me, then killed them through neglect, among other things?

Apparently the other woman who got hired at the same time as me at this clinic is now dating him. I can't get away from him

I kind of want to warn her, but at the same time, it's not my place, and I don't want to make work awkward if she takes his side.

Tell her. I know that one and he's a ******.

I got taken to Starbucks by someone I know in the UK.........

Well that wasn't very nice of them.

Here's the even more awkward part - I DID kind of tell her already. That's not just stuff I bring up randomly of course, it came up because after all this went down, he abandoned his dogs with my cousin. One of them, a toy poodle, ended up going to my uncle. So he came into work with his dogs one day and it came up about how he ended up with her.

So she knows. I even said his name, just his first name though. So either she isn't putting two and two together, or he's spinning some other version of events and she believes him.

I did not say anything about what he did to me and my birds, though.

And with all the advice you guys have given me, yep, I'm gonna just keep my mouth shut for now. Thanks all!

Seriously, all that sneaking about pretending you don't know is going to catch you out. It almost always does. Eventually the person you work with will find out you know the man. Gossip, especially for something like this spreads like wildfire. You're already posting about here............
Do the right thing. If it makes life at work a little uncomfortable you will at least have the knowledge that you did do the right thing.

Thanks Al. Not horrible, just things that need attention. A few extra drugs maybe (waiting for next call from my dr's nurse with solution) haven't heard from my bank yet, BUT, no more charges have went thru so maybe once I get them blocked that will end it as long as they didn't sell my info.

Well people did hint that a man I was seeing was gay. I didn't believe them because I knew he had a "serious" girlfriend as a teenager and did get married. Well it lasted until the honeymoon. But still I thought that counted. Plus I was too naive to realize the ramifications of being gay.Years later I came to that realization myself when I saw him come out of his bedroom with a man. Boy was I dense

I usually take coffe from home in a to go mug when I head out anywhere..

I used to drink two pots of Folgers a day.... Black

Then I discovered Esspresso... OHMYGAWD... With a little cream. It evolved into four shots of Esspresso and six ounces of half and half.

I cannot go back to coffee.

And Yes out of em all I love Starbucks. Commercially prepared espresso.... Not to bad a price considering. I like the bitterness and the nose and pallet notes.... No I am not a snob.

I will pay for a good bottle of wine but enjoy the boxed stuff for every day.

Espresso makes me bad sick.. its just too much caffeine all at once I guess..
