Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

She'll be there after 3 more gray cars drive by... I'd do that for an hour & a half waiting for my mom, before realizing she forgot, giving up & walking home. My kids are lucky I've got a phone with endless alarm settings on it.

Sorry about your jeep. :hugs I know your attached to it. I have a 94 Toyota pu like that. I need to just sell it, but cant seem to bring myself to do it.
Ha! On the waiting for my mom.

Yeah .... she was visiting with a friend... and did NOT cut the visit short.

Anyway... when I told @sourland that I hadn't packed a lunch...but I did have money.....

It only THEN dawned on me that my legs are not broken, and I can walk down the road, not that far even, and sit and eat at a restaurant.

I can walk that far.... but I had forgotten that this place was here... it has been a huge number of years since I ate here... maybe 10... there was sand in the salad last time I came..

But maybe after 10years they have gotten better, and learned how to wash produce.

All of the places that I usually eat at are over a mile from the repair place...

A whole mile ? Seriously ? You could run that in ten minutes.
Can I can I sour?

The problem was.... I couldn't decide where I wanted to go....

And I said OVER a mile.... but yeah... just felt indecisive. I could see me ending up walking 10miles... first heading one way and then the other...

I brought my money.... I have money
Doesn't taste all that though does it.;)
You've made me remember talking to a girlfriends father who lived in Southern Italy and recalls the end of the Second World War. Inflation made the Lira worthless. A lot of people had money; they just didn't have any food.:hmm

Or shoes.... or drugs....

Yeah...

Even in the states during the war there were all of those coupons for food that had to be used....

My dad was a kid in WW2 and grew out of his shoes... his parents had to get him a new set all under the table... they went after hours to a shop and he got fitted in the back where no one would see from the front windows.

Completely ****** up this evening.
I've got a broodiness outbreak gone viral. I found one of the nests and waited until dark as normal to remove hen and eggs and while I was bending sown to get the hen a low branch knocked my head torch off and I fumbled the hen.:he
No chance of finding her on the bank at night even though I heard her I think up a tree close by. As long as she stays up the tree she'll probably be fine but if she comes down to the nest....that won't be so good.:hmm
