You were at the Kid Rock concert at the Brush Run grounds?!?!?!? We're only about 20 miles from there as the crow flies! Hope it was a great show.

It was... I'm beat up tired just got home from the bridge but I'll try and get in later and tell you about it

Nice day for a walk... Not to hot not to cold.
But it's a 5 Mile walk.
I had to pee by Mile 2..... No port-a-potties on the bridge.....

looks like a great time! Wish I could talk the DH into doing it tho we would probably have to get him wheelchair or something. His shot knees would never hold up for a walk that long. These days he can struggle just getting to the workshop sometimes.

Well folks, did you wave bye bye to summer? We had two full nights of northern lights and today when we went to town you could see the first reds and purples on the trees and hints that we will be in full color in a short time. Both of these are sure signs up here that summer has packed it's bags and headed south with the tourists, sigh.

Well found out something new, my next door neighbor in my new apt. was in another location a few years back in the same complex and had it out with her next door neighbor and a couple of others near by they moved her to where she is now, and about that time she changes her name. Why you may ask does that mean anything? Well she changed it because her son murdered a local college student. and he was a "super stupid criminal" one might say. he had apparently harassed the girl earlier in the evening was warned by cops to leave her aloneand then later that night was seen around her about the time she disappeared he left her body beside a well traveled road in the county and left his cell phone behind. they picked him up in no time flat and I understand it was a slam dunk conviction....

So sit right tight and you'll hear a tale.... Of a fateful road trip. We took off from our northern town in a silver pick up truck.....
..... For a 3 hour road trip, a three hour road trip...


And oh yeah chicki....I didn't see any palm trees in Wisconsin either...... But I smelled many a skunk walking through at the crowd at the Kid Rock Concert.


Yeah go figure at a rock concert.....


So anyways... We left about 10:30 a.m. Friday for Crandon Wisconsin to go to a Kid Rock Concert and to watch the races all day.
Everything was just great except I wanted to leave at 9. But all went well till we were almost there and I turned around and asked my wife who was in the back seat.... Wait for it....."you did grab the tickets didn't you" ummmm I see her face I didn't even need her to answer me.
So we made arrangements for someone to bring the tickets as far as Escanaba . Okay so it made for a longer trip.... No harm no foul.
We get about 20 miles out my wife suddenly realizes she doesn't have her phone...... See while we stopped to get the tickets at a store we all went in and bought some road munchies. And my wife has to hold the baby that was the girls who met us....
In the process she set her phone on the roof of her car.... After several attempts my friend Dan gets someone to answer.... Great! Yay!!!
Hold on... Wait for it...... The guy on the other end tells us it was run over and the screen is black and shattered....( Galaxy S8)..... And he only got luck cuz he just kept pressing the black screen till it answers....
Other than that was an awesome night.....
