my stove looks like this good for a 1200 square foot house. I dont think its an EPA one. house was built in1984.

and no its not a pot belly its just a very small stove.

My stove looks like that one, and has a catalytic burner in it, is EPA approved... but way newer.

Oh, and thought it isn't specifically made for it, the top works great as a cook top.

Not sure if any stoves from the 80s are efficient.

You are correct! It is new. Was looking for a "spring chicken" and found this "no longer a spring chicken" and just had to use it

Morning Pond peddlers,
Above freezing this morning and a thunderstorm rolling in. That's a very good thing. Wildfires have become a threat since the snowpack is down to just a few banks here and there, exposing all the dry, dead grass and the debris from last year's storm with all the hung up snapped limbs and treetops brought down later by the snow load scattered all over. We need the lightening to release the nitrogen as well, as long as the rain starts first, that is. They've already had fires to our south where the snow disappeared first.
My next problem is the DOC is wanting to do some kind of a major download/upgrade to my census gear (no idea why) but I'm supposed to set it up in a half an hour and leave it on until tonight. Fingers crossed we don't lose our internet or power. Oh, and that nothing goes wrong on their end, we are talking the government here
