Oddly enough, it was easier to pack his bowl in storage than it was to see it sitting full of uneaten food on the counter.

This morning right after getting out of bed she says: "I'm been thinking. Why do I want to start all over again with a puppy?"

Same thing when I took Dani's toys and gave them to the beagles.

Ahhh! One of the most dangerous sentences a wife could utter. So, what does this mean? She’s over it? She wants an older dog? She wants to reanimate Dani?

Can be so tough did not think I could handle another pup was determined to get a rescue but nothing as available kept hearing so many want this one or that one
the 6 year old that is not potty trained the 4 year old that bites .. Nope bought a pup he is happy friendly puppy

Reanimation of Dani would be her dream, but we know how that goes. I just told her that we would be 'able' to handle a puppy, and I would help - BUT is that what we want to do. A rescue dog needing help due to no fault of its own sounds good to me. Last 'designer' rescue she was looking at : 2 years old, making progress with house breaking, some toy aggression. My interpretation : incorrigible dog pees and poops wherever it wants and then bites you if you touch its toys or food bowl.

Hard to make that leap .. I had not had a toy breed in like 35 years of my own ..
BF had not had dogs in 40 years .. But Dog Daddy he is and loves them, they love him
