Summer. Will. Not. Go. Away. I think the weather station is lying to keep us from going insane. They say stuff like, “it’ll be down to 84* tomorrow.” with a reassuring little ‘you can do this’ pat, but when tomorrow comes it’s 97* again & they say, oops, but tomorrow will be down to 84* ... I’m not falling for it anymore. I know now that I’m doomed to drown in the depths of my own sweat while being eaten alive by mosquitos.

Thanks. I’ve been working on it off & on forever. I added a couple coats of stain, cut the air holes in & covered them with hardwire cloth. I’m trying to figure out how to raccoon & people proof it before I put the Poles in there. The run will eventually have to be expanded too. At this point I think it would’ve been quicker & easier to just build a mini coop, but DH was gone & I was panicking so I went ahead & got it. Then I accidentally threw the instructions away & Frankie & I had to build it by way of YouTube video.

And... dog proof it? . Looks great, and, good ol youtube!
