My foot went immediately counter clockwise. :lau

I love the new vet! 😻 She thinks Monkey has a sprain & that he should be fine with doggy ibuprofen for a week. She said she could take X-rays if I really wanted her to, but she didn’t think it was necessary at this time. She says if he’s still limping next week to bring him back in & she’ll xray it then. It’s such a relief to know he’s ok & to have a vet that I trust again.

Funny because the old vet would’ve xrayed every inch of his body from 4 different angles, taken enzyme tests of every major organ & sent him home with a pile of pills, a cone, a soft brace & a $1,000 fear monger bill. I’d had left bereft, berated & feeling like a bad owner because the dog had jumped off the bed (even tho we go to great lengths to keep that from happening.) Dang, I’m glad to be rid of her.

Most excellent news!!!

I am SO glad the vet was nice, competent, AND properly priced (didn't try to pad the bill).

How was a doggie apt. With you in the car on zoom???

It was actually not bad once I got over how old & wrinkly I look. I apparently don’t look in the mirror very often, because whenever I see myself I’m always shocked.

I think Monkey was better behaved with me not in the room. I still would not want to do that with Meaty. I really don’t think he could handle it.

My sister wanted to know if the Doctor said, “no more Monkeys jumping off the bed.” :lau :gig

Dani had a very sensitive stomach, and the only food she would tolerate was Taste of the Wild Upland Prairie. The beagles get a 60/40 mix of Purina ONE Lamb and Rice/TOTW upland prairie. We bought a 40# bag of a puppy chow recommended by the breeder for Maggie - I was not impressed with the ingredient list. She is getting a 30/30/40 mix of that feed/Purina ONE/TOTW puppy upland prairie and is thriving on that. Just for the heck of it we measured her height today. At slightly less than 4 months old she is 19" at the shoulder. She is not going to be the little thing the Princess anticipated. :lau
