@Alaskan - excellent news on the health front! E is bugging me about doing a wellness check. I'm stubborn.

Last actual vacation day for me (Saturday and Sunday don't count because I normally have them off) so Twin A and I are going to get plywood for one of my coop floors and then go get "Dutch" as a reward for going to the hardware store.

Can't remember if I told you all that my Silver Penciled Rocks finally came from Pennsylvania. Only one DOA and they got here in under 24 hours. That's got to be some kind of record for USPS priority shipping.

They have great faces!
(My fingers are not very photogenic and you can see the blood blister where I hammered my thumb!)

Morning. Just morning - not good. Am experiencing kidney stone pain. Have been having uncomfortable symptoms for a couple of months, but the backache and abdominal pain slammed me at about 3:00 this morning. Waiting to see if painkillers kick in. If not, will head to ER. This is very bad timing, as everyone is planning on coming home this weekend...

That is horrifically painful.

So sorry.

Wellness checks are good. Just to keep track of how you are doing.

The health insurance we are on gives us a rebate if we do a yearly health check that includes cholesterol, waist size, blood glucose, pulse rate, blood pressure, etc.

It is good to keep track of that stuff.

What is Dutch? Is that the coffee you were mentioning before?
