Afternoon Pond little late on this morning

I use Care Credit when I have to take Bridgett to the Vet.

I have so much time to pay it off with no interest.

used that when the pup had to have surgery to reattach her retinas and one other major illness several years ago.

Nothing broken except perhaps my spirit. Field trial completed today, got our Moderna boosters - all is right in my world.

haven't gotten mine yet. one of those round-to-its I haven't round too yet.

Evening fellow ponders,
needed to take a brain break. Attempting to expand on the other studies I've taken on the Constitution so I'm taking a remote learning course from Yale "The Written Constitution" taught by professor Amar, considered the premier constitutional law scholar on the topic. Course is based on his book "America's Constitution- A Biography" . I have the book and it's a great read if you want not just a line by line but to understand more about the full history and circumstances that shaped the Constitution we have today and his take on some of the "whys" can be very thought provoking. Fantastic instructor but he's giving this old gal a brain cramp!!! I have until November 1st to write a 750 word essay on the compatibility between democracy and national security in the Constitution, yes or no, why or why not. Complete with all the footnotes, evidence, etc.
I will not tell you how many DECADES it's been since I've even attempted one these papers!!! It gets worse, I have to do three papers for this course!

Prayers for resurrection of all my dead brain cells would be greatly appreciated.

Well.... sounds like you have a handle on it.

And, sure you are old... but that means you know how to write in sentences, how to properly use punctuation, and that Wikipedia is not the best source.

You have all the younger kids creamed!


Talking of being old... kids showed me a sticker one of them had bought "just send it". I said, "just send what? What are you trying to say with this sticker?"

They tried to say that "everyone" knew this slang, that it wasn't even "new" slang, it was VERY old slang. I said I knew that that slang did not exist when I was a kid, and I still didn't understand the point.

Kid 3 sent me a video that "would explain everything ".

I watched it. All it taught me, is you can be a chubby alcoholic with a really old snow machine, and say "just send it" before starting a stupid, usually failed, stunt... and make money on you tube. All while sporting a MULLET, a hairstyle I was very happy to see fade away, many eons in the past.

So... the point of this new slang is still lost on me. I fail to see why anyone would want to be associated with this "guy", except of course the shocked, horrified, jealousy that something like that can earn such a man money.
