Day 2 and all of the quail are still alive (knock on wood ) Now I'm trying to figure out how to sex them. I know boys are rust colored chest and girls are speckled. I have a couple tho that are kinda speckled and a light "rust" color. So we'll see

I loved that... when the kids were little and would get pecked by a hen, and instead of crying about it, they would just say "what a good mama!"

They do! And it's definitely working I'm gonna need colored zip ties at this point to keep the definite roosters separated lol. They will be supper soon.
