I finally got a couple of pictures of Betty and her babies.

It will be fun to see what colors they are when they feather out. Her first two chicks from July appear to be lighter colored with red and buff mixed in. Pretty confident that one is a cockerel, given the redness of wattles and comb. They’re small, but definitely red. The other one, I’m still not positive either way. I’ll try to get pics of them someday.

Y'all, I accidentally fell in love with cochin bantams
My little buff pullet is just so stinking cute I'm getting her a cockerel tomorrow.

I've got some little partridge Cochin bantams, they're about 5-6 weeks they're adorable too!

Deep shame and sadness!

The family name has been sullied!!

The youngest 2 were on a camp out, and the youngest was tasked to build the fire... and 1. Was SLOW, and 2. USED A LIGHTER!!!!!!



Kid 4 stepped in and fixed it.

Kid 5 (youngest) will be run through basic the next 2 weeks.... this shall never happen again I say!!!!
