Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Ponders good morning one and all!

63 cloudy 83% humidity feels like 65 rain 12%.

Hubby's surgery went fine.

The surgeon said it was hard to get the bone out, although it took about an extra hour to remove and get him back to zero alignment.

Got up at 0500 yesterday morning, arrived at hospital at 0900, he was scheduled for 1200 surgery, he did not go to surgery till after 1400, and I didn't get out to come home till almost 1700.

The least I can say is I'm exhausted from yesterday.

I sat in some of the most uncomfortable chairs yesterday to the point that my whole body aches.

I'm very thankful that I put Bridgett in the kennel for a few days.

Have a great day!
Sounds like a very trying day. How long is his recovery?

I'm not real sure.

We need a three day stay in the hospital to meet Medicare rules for rehab in a center.

He will probably be in rehab at least 2 weeks, maybe more.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Will keep you posted.

That does make for a long day! My mom is having her (second) total knee replacement next week. She had the first one done exactly a year ago. She will spend a month at the local senior living center where she will have breakfast and noon meals provided (dining room is just across the hall), emergency cord and pendant, handicap accessible bathroom in her apartment, and PT will come to her the first couple of weeks. After that she can take the city bus to the clinic for PT.

God be with her @bobbi-j
