Afternoon Pond on break BF is taking a break. He has been dismantling the little coop taking it to the main chicken yard.
I am re setting the hardware cloth so chickens cannot go there anymore.

Good Evening!
Well, I moved my broody to the maternity pen. She was not impressed. I figure she’ll either sit or she won’t. I put some eggs in a nest on the floor, and some in a nest box. If she’s not on either nest when I go lock them up and I can reach her, I’ll put her on the eggs and see what she does.

Y'all, she did it! She hatched 17 poults! Unfortunately she did lose one so down to 16 but look at em!!!

Thanks. I'll probably sell most, I have more eggs in the incubator, some on the counter fixen to go in. Don't need that many
