We greatly enjoyed our muscovy.

We still miss them (dog attacks, followed by eagles...lost them all)

Very smart... you can train them easily, and they love so many food items, definitely not picky eaters!

My uncle had some for the longest time, he'd bought some for his pond and probably had them for close to 15-18 years, long as I can remember. His were never super skittish but I don't remember them being as friendly as mine, I do think mine were hand raised but I'm so use to hand raising ducks and having them revert back to being skittish when they grow up

Good morning, Pond. My experience with muscovies started long ago with a 40' climb to a busted off snag, retrieval of a bunch of eggs from feral birds - incubation and hatch.

Good morning pond! I'm officially laid off for the winter! Gotta figure out the wonderful unemployment junk here in a few but once that's figured out, I can get in to full holiday spirit

I love my muscovy. I used to have multiple but lost most of them over time. I have one duck left and she's the sweetest thing. Ebony hangs out with my goose pair but loves treats and snacks.
