Chilly and sky dandruff falling this morning. Not going to get real warm today.

Yes, I DID.


Spouse got complain-y. Something about the house being cold..... Yada yada....

So... yes, I had someone come up. I made kid #4 watch..... see what he had missed. It was "pull out the fuel rod, clean it with a dremmel, then put back in."

I had 3 kids for Thanksgiving. It was great.

Except, the kids ended up working super hard, especially kid 3.

Did I mention on here the bookcases that spouse brought home?

And, no, they did NOT fit into the room spouse wanted them to fit into. (Ha! I knew they wouldn't fit).

Anyway, kid #3 had to cut them, and reweld them back together, so that they would fit. So, pretty much his job.

We paid him with a box of ice cream bars.

Dang, what a good kid!

So... there is still a little to do... but all re-fabrication has been done. And the youngest 2 will finish up.


Just, as always, we have so much to do!

Kid 4 is taking his first ever college class. And he is SLOW. He puts so many hours into that. It is a writing class. He is mostly slow with the research part of the papers. But, he is determined to get an A+.... and that takes lots of work.


And.... he has an SAT this Saturday. It is the LAST EVER paper SAT!!!


After this, the SAT will be some computer, RESPONSIVE test. So, your answer on a question determines what your next question will be.

Full on... yuck!

Also, the child has so much scout /merit badges/paperwork to finish up for his Eagle.


To summarize.... getting the house put back together.... well.... we are a little swamped.
