Bride left Sunday...

Kid 3 left Sunday (he was with us only for Christmas weekend, was at his place and working all week, but came back this last weekend)

Kid #2 just left

Kid 1 will leave tonight....

It gets better as time goes on. Being alone isn't ALL that BAD.
How dare they have lives of their own, and then their kids (your grandkids) will have lives of their own.

Agreed. In some ways, it’s kind of nice, but there are times when I miss the chaos.

Power just came back on!

(We were only out for a few hours.... but since it was an outage for just a few people, we were worried it would take a long time.... and so we were thinking maybe stew on the wood stove for supper.... but now, all the options are back!)
