Welcome to the Funny Farm!

Also the foster kitty went to a new home today! He was a sweet little thing who loves car rides and walking on a leash! Very nice kitty who licks everything. More like a dog really. He was originally adopted out as a kitten by a family with a preschooler for a Christmas gift. Sadly six months later when he was no longer a kitten they decided they didn’t want him any longer. They returned him and he didn’t find a home until now when he is two years old. He went to a close friend so I’m delighted to say that I’ll receive updates! Congrats to Black Pearl!:ya

I would like to foster dogs as well but I fear I’d get too attached. I love rescues and love it when they find a home but it’s always bittersweet to see them leave. I enjoy it but I miss them at the same time. I do enjoy the updates when I get them and I love to see them thrive and recover from Whatever they need to. I’ve always loved animals and hate to see one in pain. I guess that’s why I ended up with so many. Most of mine have been rescues. I would like a dog but I have to find one that would be good with all my pets. :love

Hopefully the other three make it out safely! I would like a livestock guardian dog like a Great Pyrenees or border collie. Since our pekin ducks and guineas are free range I would have to make sure it wouldn’t go after them. The other little chicks are looking fluffy great job! 👍

@penny1960 I’ve been busy and haven’t had time to respond... Are all the littles hatched? The girl kitties are still fighting after 5 years! 😲 McFluffington decided to chase Flower and scratch her face! That got me off the couch quick! She got put in time out and Flower got to sleep with me. McFluffington is cranky today.

How sweet! It’s nice that you get to spend time with them before selling. I’d get too attached. I would like to sell call ducklings next spring but I think I’d just keep all of them. :lau
