Great! Hopefully that last little makes it out safely. I’m happy your having a good hatch.okay we now have 8 of 9
I get very attached to anything very quick! I’m surprised I’m even able to foster kitties! Growing up around my grandparents farm taught me about death of animals and meat. Growing up I would always name the cows and then be sad when they got too old or didn’t calf and had to go. I usually name everything even fish likely within the day that I get it... The only pet I haven’t grown madly attached to is the Guineas, they just aren’t cuddly like a little duck. I’ve never bonded with them I will likely be selling their offspring no problem next spring it’s the ducks I have a problem with. I will confess I once cried in a store because I saw a sick duckling... wanted to rescue it but couldn’t it just breaks my heart. I will see an animal and instantly form a bond. Like Little Kin, I saved him and now that he’s grown up he is a terror he bites and scratches constantly. He might not be nice but I love him more than anything and could never get rid of him. My family would always tell me “Rachel, you cannot save every animal in the world,” I really wish I could though...Works so far huh all sold I am happy for that growing up like I did I still have that
I do not name birds but for the two boys
Wow. That would be a dream job for me. I just love to save animals if I could just get over my attachment issues...I may try to save them but do not bring them home ..
Did many raids with Paws at puppy mills or midnight raids for abused or neglected.. I was the token veterinarian
I bet it would be hard to see the situations people put those poor animals through. Sounds like your littles are living the good life! The setup sounds greatOh My scared to death over that .. I had a pretty charmed life but the work for paws was heartbreaking many a nightmare from it..
