Welcome to the Funny Farm!

The ducks have grown so fast! Everyone here is doing fantastic! The call ducks can fly now, and the ducklings are getting their feathers! Crazy how fast time flies! The dog search has began as well! I’m hoping to find the perfect dog by my birthday which is surprisingly approaching a lot faster than I anticipated! It’s just crazy times right now.

I used to have a fluffy black cat named Shadow! What a cutie! I’m hoping to hatch a couple of ducklings this year. We’ve had two broodys already this year but they didn’t hatch anything.
agree with penny, I thought it was Peke also.
lol! A lot of people think she’s a dog! Especially when she has a harness on. :lau
Cute as get out tho huh
Definitely! I think she’s my favorite but don’t tell the others! 🤫 :lau

Finally got a dog for the funny farm! Meet Pippin the eight year old male Sheltie!

From retired master groomer and DVM.
Please do not ever shave again trim with scissor if its longer than you want.
Shaving softens the coat can damage the follicles..
Can cause matting in future growth
Thanks,
This is really good advice. I just picked him up yesterday and he was shaved at the shelter. I wouldn't shave him, and I know this isn't ideal. Apparently he used to live in Phoenix and unfortunately his old owners would shave his hair every summer since he was a puppy. I definitely won't be shaving his hair again. Your advice will be very helpful in the future, since he is my first dog since I was a kid. :D
