We had a 1 1/2 year old house burn last spring -- not repairable. Spread in the attic so the smoke detectors went off late -- what awakened my son and saved the people was circuit breakers popping. Cause unknown. Best guess, a ceiling fan with a wiring problem, which had been inspected when the house was new. One older son was trying to find a light that worked when his mother got to him and told him what was happening. 3 AM.
