well everyone im at it again

this is my third time trying but hopefully with tuffoldhens help i will do it right this time i have 32 eggs in the incubator 11 partridge cochins and the rest are mixed they are on day 9 and now im getting ready to look in them i lost the word ohh wait it is candling i wanted to wait an extra day or two just in case but i was wondering if my humidity goes up to 60 every now and then just for an hour or two befor i notice will they be ok also down to 30?

yeah that is what i meant yea it goes up when i add the water then i wait a little while an dab it out and it goes up when it rains and down when it is dry for a week

...It's okay I'm sure they knew what ya meant!!...Thats pretty normal for it to go up alittle for an hour or so with all this rainy weather then dry we are having....just keep trying for that 40 to 50% range...

Let me know how the candling goes...fingers crossed for you.....

Kevin, you can only do the best you can. You can try to keep humidity around 50 percent, but there will be some variation. Good luck!

ok good another question about later on though when they hatch and they dry off a little what do i do then just place them in a box with a blanket and heat lamp?
