I'm a couple years in after a lifetime of wanting them.
How many chickens do you have right now?
10, but I'll have 35 next month.
What breeds do you have?
Hens: Crested Cream Legbar, Buff Orpington, Lavender Orpington, Mystic Onyx, French BC Maran, Blue Plymouth Rock, 4 BBS Ameraucanas that I haven't gender ID'd yet (14 wks), and a bunch of chicks coming next month - 7 different breeds.
What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love their personalities and watching them enjoy the world. I also like eggs.
What are some of your other hobbies?
Homesteading, wildcrafting, homeschooling.
