Well, Here they are-Caution- fuzzy little chicks!!

They are too cute. I wish!!! The more you have the more you want. I am finding it very hard to stop from wanting more and I am not the type to get carried, but it us so hard.

I WANT A FARM!!!! I want to move to Tennessee any takers?

Seriously, good luck they are just lovely.

THanks Everyone, they are about a week old now and seem to be doing well, I made a new brooder after borrowing some ideas from here, using a clear tote to give them more room and so I can check on them without having to take the lamp out and loose all the heat. My 5 year old sat there for about 1/2 hour watching them, better than cartoons anyday!!

Is there an easy way to tell the boys from the gilrs at this stage?

Nope! I had to wait until mine crowed, you probably get an idea when the combs start to develope. This is the neverending question.

Thanks everyone. I was hoping that there might be a better way to tell the boys from the girls. I am going to trade some chicks to a friend for some Aracauna eggs, but I did not want to give away all the girls. I'm really hoping for a frizzle too, not sure when I'll be able to tell if I got any of those either.
