Well, I broke down and bought some Cornish X today...

I am raising some barred silvers that are a meat bird I bought from PA. They are bred to do more like the Rangers, and I wanted that.

However, I was at TSC and saw the Cornish and just thought it'd be nice to do a side-by-side comparison. So I picked up half a dozen.

I have to say that I really like their sweet dispositions right now. They are just so darn lazy they don't pick, fight, etc. I think they're cool! Mine are chillen in their big tub for the night. I can't wait to fool with them all tomorrow. My others get to go in their big-boy pen!

I never had a problem with the cornish. They were kind of cool they got all excited every time they saw me. These were my only chickens though.
