Well I did it will they be ok today?

Ok so here is the story. I have 10 regular hens who are around a year and a half to 2 years depending on which hen you pick up. And than i have 3 barred rocks who are about 5 months (a little younger like a week) I put the "babies" in with the older flock today around 7:30 this am they seem to getting along ok. They have been in a coop in the big girl coop run for about 2 months. If i leave and go to the beach with my girl friend (which i dont want to do but am going to do anyway) will they be ok? Or should i stay and watch them?

I should think that with a very long and gentle introduction, such as the one you've thoughtfully undertaken, they will be fine.

If there are places for them to run and hide, and extra feeders and drinkers out so they don't get kept from the supplies, then any chasing should be pretty harmless in any case.
