Well, I did it

I did 50 of them last spring. They grew a little bit slower than the chickens I usually get from Townline, but still averaged 5 lbs at 8 weeks. Others here who have ordered from both Townline and Meyer have reported that the Meyer chicks grow faster, so it may have simply been the weather that year.

I'm not sure that there is much, difference between hatcheries. Regardless, the livability was pretty good, if I recall correctly. They were good birds.
