Yea Buster, as far as I know , France is totally (?) nucular powered. (gosh I hope Bush spells that right, cause I learned how to spell it from him).

I also heard that the US buys all the nuclear waste from everyone so they don't get any ideas.

I think because people are afraid of it. And I betcha there is some political side of it, like if we buy alot less oil or gas, who's going to lose money????

Are you aware that they are currently trying to approve building a nuclear power plant outside of Twin Falls, ID that will not provide any energy to Idahoans? Californians are too afraid to have one operating in their state so they are trying to build them in MY backyard instead and ship the power to them.

I am all for a nuclear power plant in Idaho, just not one that doesn't benefit the residents of the state and instead benefits those who are too afraid to look out the window and see one in their own state.

How's this for green....

Some businesses here have jumped on the bandwagon to conserve energy, so they dug up all their grass, put down landscape plastic, and covered it all with crushed rock.

In what warped sense of reality does this make sense? Gravel instead of grass? They claim it's green because they won't have to use gas to mow anymore. :| What about when they have to spray for the weeds that will most certainly start popping up over time? Chemical pesticides must be more 'green' than lawn mowers. I guess the message they are trying to send is that if you have grass, you aren't 'green'.

They should've just rented some goats.
