Hi people,

Long time reader first time member.

Reading the many and varied topics on this forum has been extremely helpfully in my chicken adventures so far. I am still raising my flock and settling into being a chicken keeper so I thought i'd join this group to learn and share anything I can. I look forward to it.

Thanks for having me!

Hi, Thanks! I have 8 x 10 week old Black Australorp Utilities in the outside coop and free ranging every day plus 15 x 3 week Rhode Island Red Utilities that are still inside in the brooder. I have hatched them all myself in an incubator with hours of help reading these forums!!! These are my first chickens.

In fact, I am wanting to join the 2 groups together in about 3 weeks in the outside coop. Any advice?

edit, I'll make a new post in the forums to ask this question.

Hello and welcome to BYC! :frow Glad you joined.
The basics of integration are lots of time, LOTS of space, multiple feed and water stations and lots of places to hide and perch. Good luck with your pending integration.
