Hello Quail People!!

I will be joining the community now!

I have just purchased 40 cortunix (spelling?) eggs and hopefully will win the 2 auctions for button quail eggs.

This will be my introduction in to the quail world.

I may have lost my mind~~~

wow that's a lot of eggs.. but i did something similar, I ordered 50 coturnix eggs from JJ here and another 50 white coturnix eggs from mamawolf.. and then talked to uglyduckling about some of her golden jumbos..

I just got my jumbos from uglyduckling.
then, i just won the 30 or so buttons from evermore ranch.
still trying to win the ones from shay20.

Hello.. I think you may be addicted .. THat is ALOT of Buttons .. The Cotuirnix I understand you get to eat them but BUttons .. I am having a hard enough time with just two...

Ok, CoopCrazy... you have me worried!

I have a few friends that are wanting some also. So, the plan is not to keep all the buttons.

My DH is wanting me to get some Bob Whites.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! I am VERY excited about getting into them.

I still have 3 more hours before I win the buttons from shay20.

I was curious to know, will I be able to tell the difference in the males and females for the buttons and the coturnix?

Also, How soon do I need to separte the two breeds?
