I had eggs that I just knew weren't going to hatch. There was 8 that I candled and didn't see any movement so I took them outside to gently open them to see if I could see anything. They were all fully formed, 1 looked small but it was formed, 1's beak was totally crossed way bad. Probably a good thing it didn't make it. Then the last egg I went to open really smelled so I didn't finish opening it all the way. So all were formed but just didn't pip. Probably my humidity problems.
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
