I agree that you have some gold-laced wyandottes there, but the pullet in question looks to be at best half. I would guess the product of a gold-laced wyandotte hen, and a single-combed rooster. She does have the yellow legs and some gold and lacing in her feathers, but the muddling of the pattern suggests a mix and her single comb is an unlikely pure wyandotte. I have seen on rare occasion wyandottes with a single comb, but looking at her I would definitely go with half-breed.

No other rooster on the farm at the time these eggs were laid. So she is some funky wyandotte or a goof by the gentleman hatching the eggs.

Thanks for the current photo. Wow, she really is a lovely bird. But i'm still thinking that with her comb and all that red/gold and dark tail, she looks like some New Hamp. or RIR, or even a Welsummer got crossed in there. Has she started laying yet? If her eggs are on the darker side or have a lot of dark speckles I would go with the welsummer cross. Gorgeous girl.

She lays brown eggs. Looks very much like a wyandotte colored egg.

The problem with just assuming that she's a wyandotte just by the color of the eggs is a hard one saying that most breeds in her class lay brown eggs too. (with the exception of the Holland and Lamona) what I'm curious about is who was the sire for your wyandottes? Did you use someone else's? or did you borrow someone else's bird. It's possible her color is a sport and with comb genetics it's possible to get a single comb from a rose comb.
