well im gonna lose all my things *rant*

like i said it going up for auction in june for my moms self storage i have to make 300 dollars by june 1st and im doing everything i can any tips on how to make the money fast would be greatful all the things from my childhood are in there and all my mothers things i cant get another loan to pay it off money is just so tight and with court thursday since they wanted to do it a different day it gives me less time to do so. all im left with is my chickens and my family why is everything so hard its just tiring and ive been trying to get a job just being laid off and applying and applying really can put someone down

I don't know if this helps but DH and I were laid off for over a year until he recently got back to work. Anyway, we sold tons of stuff on craigslist. We also would look for good things in the free section that we could sell quickly. It helped us out a lot!

well they have a lock on it that doesnt belong to me and if i were to cut it i would be arrested for what ever reason they would charge me thats what it says on the paper but my mother and i and some other people have been paying it for years now and we didnt get a problem until now and we owe about 800 all together but they will take 300 for 2 month ya it doesnt seem right to me either all they want is to make a profit and ive told them to give me some time yet they dont

Oh wow, I've been there with you before.

I'll say a prayer that you get the money to save your warehouse. We lost ours about 6 years ago, and everything, and I mean everything was in there, my childrens school stuff, baby stuff, wedding pictures, my dads WWII diary, you name it, it was all there. Just thinking about it hurts. I know exactly how you feel. These things can never be replaced. The bad thing was, we had this storage for over 11 years, putting things in and taking them out, you know.
But when the house we rented, went into foreclosure, we got late on our payments by 3 months. They had sold the place to a different corporation, and we did not know it, need I say more? Only the best of luck to you, I'll be thinking about you, and like I said, I will say a prayer. No one should lose their "memories".

What if you moved your stuff? Do you have a friend with a basement or garage you could borrow for a couple weeks? I know Lowes has a small storage building for under $300. That might hold the most important things.

I'm so sorry! THat is so sad! they should not be allowed to take peoples personal things!!! OMG! that gets me so mad! sueing for the money is one thing...taking personal memories is another! They cant make money off of your kids pictures...idiots!!

So sorry you are going through this..

My mom went through the same thing. They had to move to a different county. Then had problems paying for the storage shed of all the stuff they had to leave behind.. The storage unit place said she had one week to come up with the money or they were going to auction off her stuff.. Soo we all went up there and took what we could out of it. The most important stuff.. Before they put the new lock on it.. She lost most of it. But at least we saved 3 car loads of important stuff..
