I made a post yesterday about 2 deaths that have occurred these past couple days the other 2 where kind of beaten up when we found one but today this one threw me off. I had a hunch it could be predators but today I found a hen 1 year same breed as the other hen that had died yesterday out in the run ( unlike the other two who had died overnight ) I went to go smash them some pumpkins and found her laying on her side. ( completely normal this morning ) her skin was very yellow and had no wounds she also looked a bit skinny but wasn’t sure if she looked like that because she’s deceased... I checked on her group that she hung out with and all of them had proper color. The only thing I could think of food wise was some new natures best organic treats that I got ( they were marked off big time but they weren’t expired and I didn’t find any recalls so I thought they were just getting rid of them? ) I took the feeder out that had that food in it but besides that I haven’t changed anything else in their feed…
So I don’t know if these past couple days have been freak accidents or they’re all connected?
