Well I'm off to AUCTION!

They aren't the greatest but all the quail were mine I hatched from my own eggs....and yep now I don't have to feed them. Was hoping for a little big higher price but $33.00 will buy me some feed! And just sold some more quail privately and made $21.00.

Also had a guy stop me as soon as I pulled in wanting 100+ quail or eggs. Gave me his number.

Thank goodness the quail don't eat all that much, or $33 wouldn't last very long!

I left before your quail came up. I saw the eggs go though. I just wasn't real impressed with any of the prices there, unless as a buyer lol.

Yeah Betta I think I saw you...was just biting at the bit for the Chukar to come up though. Now I have 7 Chukar chicks plus 18 Chukar eggs lol. And yeah prices aren't the greatest I know..but I did not come back with a bird I took and managed to get some feed money out of the deal. So I'm happy. Will be going back. It really depends on the buyers...which I do not mind at all if my quail go for .25 cents one week then 5 bucks the next I could careless...I love the atmosphere of the auctions as well.

Yeah, it's better than having them sit around forever eating all of your food, lol.
It was fun, but I'm sunburned, and I hadn't eaten yet, so I decided it was time to hit the road, lol. I'm debating on going back next week, and maybe taking some birds.

Im super tan after today lol...gotta start wearing muscle shirts. I might be going back next week....but I don't have any hatches really lined up now for sale birds....mostly for my own breeding.
But it is also fun to go there and BUY haha.

Lol. I intentionally left all of my cash at home! I need to move birds out, not in! I was stunned to see tiels going for $5 though. What'd the pigeons go for?
