(Well-meaning) human predators in the chicken run, Oh No!

Pics
It has been raining on and off all day here. So, while sitting in the house, I decided to print out a couple of signs I found on the internet. I blew them up to an 8 1/2 X 11 paper, and then laminated the sheet. I found some scraps of wood left over from the chicken coop build, and made a few quick signs which I hung on the chicken run using zip ties. I hope you enjoy the pics....

Beautiful!! I love this solution.

Don't forget to put an oldskool gumball or candy machine filled with chicken treats or feed out by the coop-- might as well clean up on the kiddos while you can!

Never thought of that. Kind of like when you visit the petting zoo.

...Roosters can hurt people, and diseases could be out there, but horses and cattle , sweet ones, can hurt or kill people without meaning to at all!...

I only have 10 pullets that are just ten weeks old. No roosters. But I was thinking how bad it could be if some little kids went into the chicken run and were flogged by a rooster protecting his girls.

GET OFF MY LAWN!!!!

Or lock the coop and run with padlocks.

Gary

Yeah, that's not exactly the message I want to send. But I sure got a kick out of that Clint Eastwood picture. I bet that would make a nice sign in someone else's yard....
