I'm new to these characters and think they are just amazing.....as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder! In GB their full title is Transylvanian Naked Necks which just about says it all (I'm bound to end up with a little Dracula!).

I love those brown ones, too, Sheila! I think my little black ones do look like vultures and my husband was briefly fooled when I told him they were ostriches!

From what I understand they are able to stand heat and cold very well (yes they probably do need factor 50 sun cream in the summer!), but if they look to be getting cold in the winter I will knit them some little neck sleeves.....now that will look interesting.

One thing I can say is that the health of the crop is very easy to assess.....it's naked too.
