When my son came over I showed them to him, he said why'd you get turkeys. I said no chickens and he started laughing We have 4 so hubby wants to name then U G L Y I said no way they are to pretty for that. Havent named them yet. I think one is a roo. The guy I got them from said all pullets that he got from Cackle, but they can make mistakes too. If he is he will have to be rehomed as I already have a roo that Im not supposed to have or at least not sure if we can. I was told our laws are vauge about roosters and if someone complains then that would fall under nuisance law. So heres hoping its a pullet just very much doubt it. Also I love the names you have. Ive geen thinking maybe Natasha, Boris (for the roo ) I still have 2 girls to name any suggestions?

My son had two turkens, he is 4. He agreed to sell one since we had WAY too many babies in his opinion. Well the sweet girl who got his other turken freaked when she saw her crop and jumped in the car to another friends house to check out Turkey Lurkey's tumor!!! LOL....no tumor just a very full crop! We love them around here and can't wait for more!!

I have four and adore them. My Ivy is especially beautiful. Her black feathers are so shiny they are irridescent and she has gold lacing on her chest and bow tie. One problem though. One of the young cockerels tried to mate her (we think) and ripped a gash in the back of her naked neck. DH says I am going to have to invent some kind of neck guard to keep it from happening again.
My turken cockerel is kinda a jumble of colors and not all that handsome right now, but I'm hoping he'll improve with time.
Wish I had ordered more turkens and less easter eggers. I'm not impressed with them at all.
