Today is day 21 of my chick hatch. Late morning had an external pip. Returned home not sure what I was going to find. Found this little one asleep on the incubator floor. Gave the incubator a tap and she? woke up. Looked dry enough to transfer to the brooder. This is my first try at hatching. Got 2 additional eggs with "semi" external pips so we shall see ....Total of 8 I'm trying to hatch.

Congratulations on your first of many babies. I know your excitement right now. My first babies are/will be 3 weeks old today, tomorrow and Saturday. They are so stinking sweet when they finally dry into puffballs. You have a cutie there. Good luck with the rest.

Got 3 more overnight. I'm at 50% hatch rate. Its technically only day 22

Got 7 out of 8 hatched and it looking like the 8th will hatch. Not bad for a first timer. The incubator is a Janoel 12 but re-badged as a "Magicfly".

I'll get more pics when I get a little time.
