Ohhh I did it.. added up everything, was a little shocked but it's ok.
The giggles I had watching the kids chase the chickens was worth

when you start hatching your own chicks instead of buying hatching eggs/hatchery chicks the costs come down a bit too! and it is a wonderful feeling to see your 'fluffy' kids give you grand kids when you are in your early 30's

(no real kids here so these are my babies!)
