Well thats weird why did she stop?

I have a brown leghorn hen in with a old mixed huge jersey giant rooster she was laying great and he was breeding her and suddenly she just stopped do you have ny idea why the only reason i can think of is it as gotten a little colder at night because a cold front come in but do you have any idea?

Is she the only hen with your rooster? Some hens will stop laying if their stressed.

How long has it been since she laid an egg??? How old is she?

Has she already molted? Have you checked her for pests? Have there been any changes lately? Does she look/act "normal" other than not laying - as was noted already, stress can cause chickens to stop laying.

Have you checked her for mites? Does she have a pasty butt? Do you feel anything hard in her?

She has no pest on her she is eating normaly maybe the rooster is stressing her out she laid for 2 weeks after we put her in there!No pasty butt she is not to old no she has not molted i guess it is stress.

Do you have them in a pen or are they free range? She could have a hidden nest somewhere?
