her chicks are adorablee! i told my mom and she couldn't believe it! how could she have avoided predators after so many chilling stories about preadators killing just for the fun of it! so sweet! i am so happy she was okay!

Awww.. a happy ending! Don't you love it when they (the hen) does all the work? Glad it worked out. Perhaps it was her who made the holes in the fence so she could go broody.
