Wellsummer?

Very pretty bird.

You might PM WalkingOnSunshine. She did a very good job of explaining to me the dynamics of egg color genetics.

She may be able to give you an idea of the likelihood you've got an olive egger.

...And it looks like a pea comb to me from the photos. I think I see a main line of peas then very small ridges on both sides of the main pea line.

It is definitely not a rose comb...or at least what I'm used to seeing develop....that will look like a little horseshoe with indent in the middle that grows on the edges with a little knob at the top (often but not always).

Which, keep your fingers crossed, could mean she got the blue gene and might provide an olive egger as it would be over a dark layer.

If her daddy was an EE and her momma was a Wellie, you might get some olive shade. I've got to say, she doesn't look part Welsummer to me, she looks classic Easter egger. Did you hatch her yourself?

No, I didn't hatch her. I got her from chickens galore. It's a small business run from his home. He claims he doesn't mix birds, but has about 25 different breeds. She was supposed to be pure Wellsummer!

Then you don't know her momma was a welsummer. I think you have a regular Easter egger. Enjoy her or return her for a Welsummer pullet.
