Wellsummers hen or cockerel ??

Hi,

We have 2 Wellsummers which our loving blackrock hatched and looked after during a broody spell, the thing is although they both look identical one has a big tuft on top of its head, they are now both 24 weeks old and no signs of crowing or laying ??

The 1st pic we believe is a hen, the others show the one in question ? The feature that has thrown us is the large tuft of feathers on top of its head ? Thank you in advance for any help

Looks like a cream Legbar.

It does look like a crested cream Legbar. Was one of the eggs blue?

It is female, no doubt.

Welsummers don't have crests, white earlobes or that same coloring.
