Wellsummers?

Mine are incredibly hardy free-rangers, as well as prolific layers of stunning eggs. Here in Ohio, our temperatures are somewhat moderate compared to those of other states (sometimes only reaching humid high 90s during summertime), but the Welsummers get by great. Highly recommend. :)

oh great! it gets like in the 100s is that okay? and i free range mine so goood!
 
I love my welsummers
They do well in the heat and humidity of my area (costal Carolinas)
However, mine are very prone to bumblefoot.
None of my other breeds get it.
Just the welsummers.
I don’t know if their foot pads are especially tender, or if their immune systems have less resistance to staph.

Just my two cents here.
Not trying to scare you off.
My girls are lovely, it’s just that they require attention and care.
